Just so you know this may make you a terrible person… just when it comes to picking a team, for one day out of the year. As a Griz alum I cheer on the Cats all other days and games of the year, other than this one. I would still buy you a beer and deer hunt with you though, for what it’s worth.
Totally agree with this. MSU has built an incredible program over the last many many years, but having been to both venues (and many others), Washington Griz Stadium is something special to be inside of during any game, but especially the Griz Cat game.
Thought I would dig this one up for 2022. Should be a great game even if the Griz are coming in as the underdog. Looks like it should be about 7 degrees out and sunny. This rivilary is one of the better ones in the nation for sure - hopefully this year doesn’t disappoint. Go Griz!
I don’t think I have shared this before (forgive me if I have). My Grandfather was in charge of a POW camp in France during WW2. He came home with various items that the POWs made from used artillery shells in their spare time. The craftsmanship is incredible for the time and the constraints...
It’s a fun gun to shoot for sure! I have a bunch of Sierra 400 grain JSP bullets sitting around, i think I’ll start with some H110 and work some loads up and see what happens.
I bought a .500 S&W 20 years ago which got me into hand loading (I was in college and thought it was the coolest gun ever). I have kicked around various loads over the years for target pratice, but have never hunted with the gun. A few units I try to hunt allow traditional handgun, which this...
I was waiting for the part where you go buy a tag down the street, come back, and turn that bear into pot roast and a rug while the game wardens oversee everything.
1. Alberta Moose hunt for my 40th
2. MT elk hunt with my twin brother for the same reason
3. Hope to chase grouse with the son
I started talking to my wife about it already and she just rolled her eyes… but she didn’t say no, so that’s good
The morning after coming out from some snowy country with a cow - made some basic elk and eggs with homemade sourdough and tomatillo salsa. The elk was trim from the chain of the back strap. Pretty darn tasty and filling after not eating much for a few days.
Agree with this having got to tag along here once for a work event. With that said, $1,000 for two pigs, chickens and coyotes - let me know when you are picking me up 2rocky, that’s a pretty sweet deal to fill the fridge and stretch the legs in the off-season. Miller - what is the group discount...
