I don’t, but most guys up here that do it just use a really large treble hook and some think poly line from what I have seen. They land the fish or shark on normal tackle and once it’s below them they lower the treble, snag it and haul it up. Some of the best fish tacos I have ever had were made...
Not much help, but if it were me and I was targeting shark from shore I would head out to a pier early and get a chum slick going and try to lure them in. I’m 65 miles north and I have never seen anyone land a shark from the shore other than from a pier.
I fully agree with this as a 39 year old that has to work with a bunch of different software and platforms each day…. YOU KIDS GET OFF MY DAMN LAWN!!!!
What is a good entry unit that I can learn on but also actually do some stuff with it once I have some practice under my belt? I have a 220 v outlet in my garage, so that part should be ok.
Made the kids some teriyaki elk kabobs with rice the other day. Leftovers were staring at me as I looked in the fridge for lunch - whipped up some quick elk fried rice. Turned out fantastic!

Just thought I would throw it out there as I didn’t know about the Jr. version for kids until today.
Bluey is a 10 out of 10. The kids love it and I will watch it without the kids sometimes. The best game ever that we stole from Bluey is “keepy uppy” where the kids go crazy trying to keep a balloon from hitting the ground and have to keep hitting it up in the air - it’s good for a 15 minute...
I vote for a YouTube channel documenting these. When it hits the million view mark we can all celebrate by using the ad money generated to buy is all stone sheep hunts… or maybe just pigs…
I’m going with my Kenetrek gators - tromping through wet snow and wet brush they keep me dry, which keeps me going. I didn’t know what I was missing until I got them, and now I put them on 90% of the time unless it’s early season (even then I usually put them on just for the brush).
I’ve had it three times in the last 8 years. It’s no joke and will knock you off your feet for a while. I have found sleeping pretty much around the clock for three or four days usually gets me through the worst of it. What I seem to keep getting is termed “walking pneumonia”, for what it’s...
