I hope you have good hunt. It's a Great time of year to be in the mountains. Over crowding has become a real issue during archery season. Last year I ran into several folks from out of state complaining about the number of bowhunters. Keep your expectations realistic and enjoy your hunt.
Hesitant to share but have to, but it's a toss up. Working a stand of timber while guiding elk hunters, client turns to Share " you need to know last time I hunted I accidentally shot my partner, it wasn't my fault he was wearing a white shirt"
Or, just so you know I won't shoot anything less...
So when my grandfather died he was living in Seattle. His daughter, my Aunt bragged about turning his guns into Seattle PD during a buy back program. Belgium browning citori, Winchester pre 64 in 270. I've hope some cop is hunting with them so they didn't get destroyed
I checked I think I found it again under conservation. Format was different then I remember and bedded it within a number of report by zone
Still interesting
So for you guys with experience. Are there any way to reduce exposure to birds prey? I'm assuming there is a prime time of day they prefer to hunt. One of the benifits of having pigeons is I've a ton time watching raptors around house that I used pay little attention to.
It was and I'm assuming still on mtfwp. Usually was year old and certain drainages. It was super interesting to see travel patterns on Marias in places I fish.
How did he get into the loft? Prarie falcon is probably my biggest problem, are bobs a deterrent?
Just started flying a few birds and so far they haven't drawn any attention, but I'm guessing that will change quick
Arming teachers may not be the right answer. It may depend on the local areas and of course the teachers, but either way it's not about engaging the bad guy.
It's about providing areas of refuge during initial lock down while the bad guy engaged by responders
Just came out of mountains bear hunting. Never saw a tick which is opposite of my usual experience. Been cold spring in montana , assuming that made difference.
