I would use the LR cylinder with the shorts/cb's..I shoot them outta my Ruger. I carry a mag full of bird shot in my 9mm a lot for a snake charmer, they will take the head cleanly off at close range..but randy is right, past about 5 feet its worthless. -

I wish the season was longer
that sucks.I had to do the same thing not too long ago..Kinda like you, I took my dog everywhere, it was hard..All we can do is give them a good life while they are with us, looks like you definitely did that.- rosco

if is says Mauser espanol 1893, then its a small ring '93 Mauser..not sure i'd want one in 22-250..Keep the loads light, the 93's-95's can be a liability..I have a 93 in 257 Roberts, its a nice shooting gun, just cant hot rod the older small rings.Most were built rebarreled into 250 savage or...
