    Never hunted it but have seen elk while antelope hunting and in the wintertime when they are in the flats, have talked to a few guys while dropping off animals at the processor that have taken elk there and a guy i knew took a 350 class bull in 23 a few years ago, he swore by that area...

    I have a 19 type 2 tag and havent had much luck finding elk i was wondering if any of you had any insight to the area? All the areas i have found elk in earlier in the season seem to be empty.

    Good luck Randy I live in Casper and was also out this morning looking for elk but with how bad the snow and wind was i didnt see any elk either plenty of deer though then on our way out my buddy put his truck on its side in a ditch so dont feel bad you are not the only one that had bad luck...

    Drew my first choice elk and antelope! also picked up a cow tag for the same area and my second choice whitetail tag, gonna go general for mulies this year again. Hope you all fair well in the grasslands good luck!
