I live in Alaska so naturally I hunt moose here. I hunt moose mostly in low country where you need a boat to get around. I have been successful and I believe that most tags are over the counter but most areas have antler restrictions for non residents, 50" or 4 brow tines.
I own a 6.5X55 Krag Jorgensen rifle that appears to be manufactured as a sporting rifle. It looks to be all original and is in good condition. Do any of you folks know anything about this rifle I do own one other Krag that has been sporterised in 30-40 Krag but I do know the history of the 30-40
