I have a line on some used Swarovski optics on an upcoming auction. The binos are listed as 10x42 and the spotter is listed as 20x60. I believe the binos are ELs based on the frame?

I was thinking the same thing as you Cav! I use a Rhodesian from Andy's Leather. Quick entry (not as fast as a Ching) without the third stud. I do have some Whelan slings on some 22s and on my Mini 14. They work, but I just prefer my Rhodesian. Took this year's mule deer shooting off of my...
When I was in your shoes a couple of years ago, I went with a 30-06, so obviously you made and excellent choice! What it came down to, for me anyway, was magazine capacity and not very much real world increase in performance of a magnum vs standard cartridge. On paper, a 300 Win Mag vs 30-06/...
Rifle season in Nebraska was a several weeks back, but I am just now getting around to writing my hunt. I had spent the first day and a half of the season hoofing it through the local sandhills and canyon country checking likely spots with no luck. I had only seen one group of does that came...
