    This photo was taken at Cataloochie, NC. These elk were taken from the LBL herd in western Kentucky and transplanted to the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. It's not going to be long for us to get the opportunity to hunt elk in Kentucky. Skipper

    Full Draw-How long can you hold it?

    I usually tone my draw weight down to right at 60 for that reason. I want to be able to shoot sitting or nealing if I have to. Skipper

    Full Draw-How long can you hold it?

    Holding full draw used to be part of my practice regiment. These days I don't have enough time, but back then I would hold it for 3 to 5 minutes before releasing. I could probably hold it about a minute today before I get too shaky. Skipper

    Nice pics JJ, I really enjoy taking outdoor photos, like you said, no skinning, no packing out, and its a lot easier to get permission to do sometimes. We go to the Smokies a lot to photograph wildlife. Skipper
