    Fair enough. I'll keep it in mind. I'm hoping to see trailers if I see any trucks. That way I'd assume they're way back. My plans are to hunt local. 1-2 miles in, camp two nights, glass, no elk-leave, see elk with no other hunters- give em hell. I feel it's the best way to hunt solo.

    Makes sense. If I didn't live here I would hunt other states. Hopefully Eagle Cap treats me well in 2 weeks. If not, I was lucky enough to get an antlerless tag in Idaho in October. Doing both archery and rifle this year...what more could a guy ask for? Good luck to you in Montana....

    I figured as much. I'm worried these OHV trails will be like the ones by me. They are used as often as possible with dirt bikes, quads, and dune buggies and the deer and elk are not to be found until weather restricts the fun... Thanks.
