    Thank you for the advice! The lake I’m planning on hiking into is about 2.5 miles from the road but is not terribly far from Bozeman mt which is arguably the epicenter of the bro flyfisherman so it may get more pressure than one thinks but we will see.

    Kind of late but this is what we came up with. Pretty disappointed but drawing this tag was an itch I had to scratch. Passed up a huge 3 pt on first day that would have scored better than what I got. Had fun tho.

    I’m looking at getting a MR sawtooth pack and have a trip lined up on united airlines in October. I would like to bring it on the plane as a carry on. Anyone else done this before and not had issues? I know it meet the measurement requirements but I have heard of ppl being able to do it

    I only burned 4 points. I have always hunted the east side of the highway and curiosity has gotten the best of me. I’m not sure what they are up to but I know it keeps going up.

    What would you say is the most worth-while species to hunt in that area? I don’t have the money to buy out of state tags very often. I may just let him buy tags for a few years and hopefully I can get over there to go with him so I can see for myself.

    My uncle just moved to gunnison co. I’m thinking about maybe trying to do a hunt eventually over there when I go visit from Montana. What game species is good hunting around there? I know I have a lot of research ahead of me but I figured I’d see if I could get pointed in the right direction...
