So lately I've been hunting whitetails solely from the ground. There just isn't all that many good trees for a stand in the areas I'm hunting, which is mainly cattails and crp type cover. I decided the other day to break out a ghillie suit that I had bought years ago, to do some practice with...
The switchback does have new limbs, replaced by mathews at no cost to me . So she's got a lot of life left in her! We'll see how I'm feeling come spring..might go bow shopping or might not. Either way the switchback will never be sold. Just had too many good hunts with it to see it go down the...
Currently shooting a mathews switchback LD and would say I shoot it pretty darn well..most days. I have days where I shoot lights out out to 80+ yds and other days leave me wondering what the heck I'm doing wrong. I know it's most likely me and not the bow. I could however stand to learn whole...

I have never hunted the first week but my tactics wouldn't change from the first week to the last..use your glass to find them and then be willing to burn boot leather and go after them when you do. This tactic has served us very well from mid to end of season.
So Tommy boy can't find himself a good youtube channel...better watch my shit (critters&fish) before you totally give up on youtube..its low grade, no kill shots, and probably not entertaining..should be right up your alley. The more I do it the more I do enjoy attempting to put together a...
