Will be cruising through billings and Bozeman tomorrow and could use some new tensioner bungees for my vbar chains. If anyone knows where I could get some, please let me know. Thanks!
Sounds and looks like it's been a great hunt so far! Looking forward to seeing pics of that nice bull, when you do cross paths with him. Awesome rifle as well!
I have a quivalizer and for the most part I really like it. I did put a back bar on my bow due to the amount of weight that sits way out front. Bow shoots awesome and its also is nice for leaning the bow up against trees. It does however catch the wind pretty good .
In the areas I've encountered elk out there, I would not waste time hiking through them(thick, nasty $*it) ,unless I was heading to a good vantage point to glass. Be in a good glassing spot away from roads at first and last light. Look for tracks when you're driving on two track roads that go...

A few days before this incident, I was discussing bows with my dad and I had mentioned to him how Hoyt dry fire tests their bows. We both agreed that it is an impressive test! I then proceeded to joke about the test, like how does anyone dry fire their bow?! ....And then I do it two days later...
