Seekins Element 7prc
After two full days of shooting I have her dialed. Zero’d at 100 and verified data out to 965. By far the furthest I’ve shot. Starting out with the 175gr ELDX and once I’ve filled in a few gaps on this range card I’ll switch over to ELDM. -

Yes, in hindsight maybe should have gone with the Vortex scope and left the bipod off of it but figured the light gun allowed me to add what I wanted and would still be a pound or more lighter than some other rifles -

Got the Arca rail mounted and swapped scope rings from vortex mediums to seekins lows. I’m liking the atlas psr bipod. Bought a mystery ranch sling and now to wait for the surpressor, sight it in , practice a bunch and she’ll be ready to go -

Looking for some pup advice
Female will help with the size issue and suggest, I am very happy with my pudelpointer. You said shedding is ok but most of them don’t shed and the ones that do shed very little. Great versatile breed for waterfowl and upland, and are great family dogs.- Firedad

Unique California Blacktail and Thoughts
I’d have hunted CA this year if I hadn’t drawn tags. Maybe politics plays a small part why people refuse to go to CA. Not saying it’s a major factor but I bet it plays a part. There’s a lot of hate for the state. -

Chamber Empty or Loaded
Since it was brought up, I CC loaded. No safety on my 365. It’s illegal to have a loaded rifle or shotgun in a vehicle, including a UTV. As to carrying the rifle, my best friend was killed in a hunting accident by his brother’s gun so I tend to carry empty. Shotgun stays loaded until I stop or... -

Unit 022 help
Still not seeing a whole lot out there. A couple of does one night but only bucks were on private property:( we’ll keep hunting hard and I’m sure it will pay off in the end. I just want to see my boy successful on his first hunt -
