After a long night of making love, the guy
notices a photo of another man, on the woman's
nightstand by the bed. He begins to worry.
'Is this your husband?' he nervously asks.
'No, silly,' she replies, snuggling up to him.
'Your boyfriend, then?' he continues.
'No, not at all,' she says...
My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Dr. Once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this he pays nothing, and nothing is...
Here in IL we all have to use slugs When I started I found that an open chock worked better. I finally bought a regular slug gun with a rifld barrel and have a scope on it. If you just use the shotgun bead you will find that it covers the deer if it isn't right on top of you.
As far as the...
Thanks for the invite but I just got back from Idaho last night. Took a nice brown bear last week. I couldn't find a partner for an Alaska trip so had to go solo in Idaho. I posted some pics on the OYOA bear forum.
Thanks again. Perhaps we can get together some other time
hunting buddies
I have gone elk hunting with 3 different people who only had experience with mid-west whitetails and had never hunted in the west. All three turned out to be a bad experience. I don't hunt elk anymore with anyone who hasn't done it before.
best glass
I don't know what you have or what type of hunting you do but if you are intent on spending more money I would spend it on binoculars rather than a scope. A scope is simply a sighting device and is used for a very short time. While it is important to have a good one you can easily...
scopes
I have both and they are both good. My Lepolds are all 4X and the Ziess is a 3x10.
I think the Ziess is a bit brighter but that may be because of the magnification. Go to the store and look through both and deceide. You can't go wrong with either choice
AK fishing
You didn't say how much time you had but there is some good stream fishing along the Deneli Hwy if you want grayling and trout. The comments of the others is spot on too.
I see New Mexico has some areas which are open all year for aoudad to which I am considering applying.
Is there anyone out there that has hunted them in those areas and if you have, is there any one best time to hunt them?
I would appreciate any information you could provide on hunting...
Thanks for the help. It would be helpful if Big Luke would post some names of guides as perhaps there are some others on the board that could use the info or you could PM them to me.
I am interested in going for a couple of days and just targeting a really large one as I would just as soon...
Anyone out there that has fished for sturgeon on the Columbia or surounding area?
If you have, I would appreciate any information you are willing to share as to guides, best time to go, and what to look for.
Thanks
I live in IL and am a rifle hunter. I also like to hunt upland and water fowl but don't have a dog anymore.
I have hunted whitetail, mule deer, antelop, elk, moose, bear, and mt.lion I prefer to go DIY but have done a few guided trips when I didn't have any other options
I would like to do a MT DIY bear hunt spring of 2011 and would like a partner.
If I can't get that done I will probably do a guided hunt in Idaho 2 bear area. Could also use a partner for that to reduce cost from 1x1 to 2x1
I also plan to put in for tags on MT antelope and deer and CO deer...
