    My take on Newfoundland is if you want big antlers go to Northern portion and fly in where the native population can’t drive to.     Last year 3rd season rifle elk in Colorado where I was you could not get away from the hunters. Every clearing had tents,campers, or pickups in them with multiple hunters. You couldn’t get out of site from one hunter without running into another. I haven’t seen PA deer season like that in years...

    Finally received the rifle that I had on layaway for 3 months in the caliber that I have wanted to try for 8-10 years last Friday.

    I know a few lefties that run right hand bolts also. They do not seem to be bothered and one of them actually prefers right bolt. Probably for the same reasons you mentioned. Have fun on your trip to Idaho.

    243 BC

    I agree with the above most higher BC bullets are longer and require a faster twist but your rifle may be different. Experiment with it. That’s your only way you will know what yours will do.

    Soooo you gave up on the thought of having another left handed rifle and got this beauty instead or did I misunderstand that statement. Just curious but either way it looks like a sound purchase and I’m sure you be as proud of it as your 270 very shortly. Congrats.
