Anyone know of any residents willing to go archery hunting in the wilderness in 2024? I'd be more than happy to pay to stay in their "ABnB" until the hunt started.

Alright all you WY unit 9 hunters, I'm trying to capitalize on a Unit 9 type 6 tag with only a few days available to me. My question is: what timeframe is usually the best to be able to see cows in a small window as I will not have but a few days to hunt. I'm guessing after the snow pushes them...
My experience has been that if you go OTC the latter half of archery, you'll find most of the elk on private or in the kind of stuff that will take you a week to pack the elk out of. Go early before everyone blows them out. You'll still find them later but being new, you'll more likely see/hear...
Find out the game warden for your units you want to hunt and call them up. They can answer a lot of your questions if you are specific and aren't asking "where are the elk?".
I drew a cow tag for this unit and was looking for any general information on it. Is water plentiful most years, hunter density during archery, non-hunter use, do the cows tend to hang around a certain elevation in this unit, black bear prevalence, etc.?
