If your looking to cut weight both Smith and Wesson and Taurus have lightweight 44 mags. I have the Taurus Tracker. I woulda preferred the Smith but didn't have the extra cash at the time. the Taurus shoots pretty well. If you get a lightweight 44 make sure it's ported.
Chains are normally for getting out, not getting in. Of course i haven't always listened to my own advice. If you get stuck with chains on your gonna be there a while.
