So I bought a point for deer and elk last year in Montana and was unsuccessful in drawing a combo tag this year. Should I be seeing my points increase to 2?
Ran into two guys I met last year at one of my hunting spots. They hunt the same area and said they parked at my truck opening morning and ended up killing a bird just a few hundred yards from where they parked. I must have just walked the wrong direction that morning.
The way its not really running away seem weird to me. I have watched videos of people like Tim Wells spear pigs and other game in Texas and its fine with me. The animals don't make it very far with a huge blade through their heart.
The water shot was actually me backing out of the spot I got stuck in after getting a tow. I got stuck late in the evening trying to shock gobble birds and had a 1.5mile hike to cell service to call for help.
This ties into my hunting hobby but I think the act of researching for hunts and looking at maps has become a hobby in and of itself for me. I spend countless hours on gohunt and onx researching different possible hunts. I also do a lot of backpacking and reloading.
I am sure its like this in a lot of places, but I find it funny walking into stores in my town with signs requiring mask and seeing no one wearing one inside.
Personally, I would like to see a more limited tag approach or possibly limited for nonresidents and otc for residents like other states do. I think it would help crowding and pressure, but understand there are a lot of other issues as to why Colorado hasn't switched. I also realize that...
You are correct. Everyone drives up from Colorado Springs and thinks its ok to go shoot up the forest and leave their trash every where. I just yell at everyone I see doing it illegally now.
