Yes !!! I'm sure we have all read about the hunter that shoots the elk (or maybe deer), then walks up to it and puts his rifle on the elk/deer to take the usual "grip and grin" photo. At that time the animal jumps up and runs off with the rifle/sling in it's antlers never to be seen again. If...
I use Wilderness Athlete Hydrate and Recover, along with some LMNT powder. Fill my Camelbak with it in the morning and chase elk all day through the mountains.
edited to add: Wilderness Athlete Discount code is "20YEARS" for 30% discount.
Pagosa seems like a great place. Some nice Hotels along the main drag that are on golf courses. We always go there when we are staying in Chama for our annual elk hunt (it's only 45 minutes away). Walmart there for whatever, and lots of good eating places. Cole's Meat Processing does an amazing...
I use the Kenetrek Ultimate Liner sock under the Kenetrek Alaska wool sock. They are up to the knee, and have padding in the right places to make all-day boot wearing comfortable.

Seems like they are trying to rekindle the interest in the Blaser R8 rifle. Same (or similar) design. I don't recall much interest, and the price was really high.
Agree. Most have the thin barrels that heat up quickly, so you have to wait between shots for it to cool a little. I wait 1 minute between shots and 5 minutes between groups (or longer). Of course when hunting, you can't wait if a follow up shot is needed, but when trying to do a load workup...
