I appreciate what you're saying, however I did post it in the "Fun Stuff" section, under "Jokes", which I thought was the best place for it. I have no problem if the Forum Administrators wish to lock it at this point or delete it completely. That way we can go back to arguing about Hammer...
The Biden team announced that Fetterman will be his VP on the Biden 2024 Presidential ballet. Their motto will be "BIDEN AND FETTERMAN 2024 A NO BRAINER".
Greenhorn, wear a hat made of tin foil, and tell him you are looking for aliens. Then hold up 4 fingers in Spock-like "V" symbol and ask him to take you to his spaceship (but you must do it without laughing).
Is that the ranch that was sold recently? I think they had two in NM, Broadhead and Silvertop and one was recently sold. That put all of their NM hunters trying to find a place to hunt on the one remaining ranch, which resulted in it always being booked up.
Frank Simms and Randy Slaughter of Brazos Outfitters (Chama, NM) run a quality group. They have been doing it a long time. I have hunted with them in the past in NM (different Ranch) and have hunted their Colorado Ranch (Banded Peak) for the last couple years. I am going back with them this...
I got a T/C Venture in 30/06 for $300 also. It has the 5R rifling. The local gunshop had it on the wall, no box or papers, but it was new. It shoots 1/2 inch groups with my reloads of IMR 4350 and Barnes 168 TTSX. Most accurate rifle I have ever owned.
Thanks I like to make sausage (smoked mostly), and burger. I wanted to try to salvage as much meat as possible, but didn't want to ruin it with the white stuff that seems to permeate the neck meat.
Just wondering for those of you that keep the neck meat, do you grind it whole, or do you try to separate the white stuff from the meat before grinding?
I was in my local Cabelas Monday (Gonzales, La), and they finally have Nosler brass on the shelf. .270, .308., 30/06- Several boxes of each, only $105 per box of 50. Needless to say, they are still there-all of them.
Binos. You will constantly be using your binos on the hunt, all day long, from early morning to late evening. You might go several days before you see something you wish to shoot, at which point you will then use your scope. Bonos first is my suggestion.
Pro Bowl has been history in my house since several years ago, when Drew Brees tried to kick an extra point after the NFC scored a touchdown. A few "WTF?" floated around the room at which time we changed the channel.
I know this is an OLD thread, but let's resurrect it anyway, hunting season is over for me. Border crossing scene in Sicario, and alley scene "Is that my briefcase?" in Collateral with Tom Cruise
