100% of my crossbow hunting is done out of them...never brush them in, just set them up about a month before hunting season. Have been very successful hunting out of the pop-up tents. Gun season, pop-up tents and box blinds...came out of the trees about 10 years ago and haven't missed a beat.
Recently got a X Bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor (Manbun), mainly because it was the only caliber that I could find in the Browning X Bolt Maple Medallion. Unfortunately, haven't had a chance to sight that gun in yet...Winter came in strong! Looking forward to sighting in and hunting with it this year.
Bought a new Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .308 in 2021. Bought some Federal Non Typical 150 gr. ammo for it and it shoots fantastic! Unfortunately, didn't get a chance to shoot a deer with it...that glory went to my new Super Grade in .264 Win. mag.
I bought this scope for use on a muzzle loader, and have it mounted and bore sighted, but not sighted in yet. Glass seems pretty good for the money, and the illumination system works well.
Bought three new rifles in 2021...Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in .308 Win., Winchester Model 70 Super Grade SS in .264 Win. mag, and a Browning X Bolt Medallion Maple in 6.5 Creedmoor (Manbun)...really quite happy with my rifle collection now. All set with shotguns, handguns, and rimfires...

They do seem like a nice scope for the money. I was able to get a new Crossfire II 3-9x 50 V-Brite (illuminated) for $185 from eBay. The only prior experience that I have had with Vortex is I have had as many as 6 of the Vortex Viper XBR crossbow scopes. They had great glass and a good...
