Elk burger tips
We triple grind all venison. Usually add ~15% weight of fatty pork...either pork butts or picnic roast or pork loin if it has a good fat cap. Basically whatever is cheapest and on sale.- targetpanic

Beautiful eastern Montana weather

Finally caught a Laker!
Nice Laker!! Champlain I'm assuming? We catch a lot of them in Quabbin Reservoir. They put up a decent fight and shake their heads and roll around the entire way in. Smoked is definitely the best way to eat them. We catch and release them almost exclusively and only target them when we can't...- targetpanic
