    Do you get tired?

Appropriate timing, this thread, for me... I've been saying I'm losing my zeal for whitetail hunting, and I've got conflicted feelings about it. I live in a whitetail state with some of the best whitetail hunting anywhere, so I feel like I SHOULD do it. Ive hunted whiteails for 30 years, i...

    4 days in New Orleans

The cut/pasted email above pretty much nails it. You'll want to do the typical tourist stuff French Quarter / Jackson Square / Cafe du Monde for a bit and then you could do the playbook above and you'll have a blast. Garden District / Magazine Street is probably my favorite part of town.

    Bino Harness Pain

I carry the bino harness straps in my pack..takes about 15 seconds to switch out. Usually, if I just sit to glass I'm leaning back against my pack or its right next to me, so bino pouch is right at hand either way even if its still attached to backpack.

    Went to Wisconsin

Good stuff. Glad you enjoyed your intro to whitetail stand hunting. I think the "buck fever" in a tree stand staring down a whitetail is enhanced by the sometimes LONG awaited encounter and the inability to move, at least when you're stalking something you have somewhere for that extra...

    2023-2024 Chukar Adventures

I've shot a few chukar, but they came out of a cage and I did it in the name of bird dog training. Tasty buggers. I'd like to give it a go on the real deal someday (I think). Cool stuff, beautiful place neffa.

    Fear of Lost Keys

Love my Ford keypad, but when in BFE I don't trust it because a dead battery would be no bueno. I stash the keys and be sure everyone in our party knows where bc you never know who needs to get into and/or drive the vehicle out in emergency
