    Trailhead consideration

Plenty of nooks and crannies in the engine compartment. Those bastards chewed up the wire harness in my 97 Ford PSD and that dashboard showed me lights I hadn't seen since the last time I took acid. No problems after stashing the mothballs.

    Bozeman in 2044

I like it, I've lived in a lot worse places, and people hated those for whatever reasons they had to have to feel better. As for profiteering, there's a couple of private schools that are catching that windfall, we're just the middle men.

This isn't the Judge's fault. It's the County Attorney who let the suspect plead down. Until DA's start to realize they'll have to face up to stuff like this on election day, wildlife crimes will always take a backseat to more sexy crimes that get you on the evening news.

You don't need a car in The City, and remember - cities are just another form of wilderness. But easier to blend into.

Seriously, you don't have to live there, enjoy what's there. It's an amazing city, and remember what Anthony Bourdain said - "Anyone who doesn’t have a great time in San Francisco is pretty much dead to me"

Zarzuela has great tapas. Swan Oyster Depot and Tadich grill have great seafood. If you're single and looking for a West coast cowgirl hit Jaxson's. If you're looking for city girls, hit Union Street/Marina district.

    San Francisco

The USS San Francisco memorial out at Land's end is a pretty sobering experience. A Giants game is also a good time on a nice day. Two of the best bars in town are on Haight - The Toronado has an incredible selection of beers, but be prepared to see some alternative looking people and cranky...

Don't go to fisherman's wharf. Alcatraz is actually pretty interesting and the ferry bar makes a good bloody Mary. A ferry trip out to Sam's anchor for lunch is another good trip. A walk across the bridge on a nice day is worth it. For restaurants and bars just about every corner and street...
