Uhh, it's been happening way before soy based insulation. Why do I think this is another issue the old boomers are going to start yelling about after shower heads and toilets.
The MRI is just a formality. I'm pretty sure archery and rifle are washed out, I can't imagine holding a heavy kicker against my cut up shoulder, I'm pretty much just hoping to get on skis by Xmas. Maybe a shoulder season cow elk (I'll whisper when I say that).
Not today, but I scheduled an MRI for my shoulder yesterday, sounds like the rotator cuff decided to give me a big FU. Archery season over before it starts. Maybe I can stand some rifle recoil by turkey day.
I'm quite happy shooting stubble field whitetails with the .223 Tikka and AR. I've used the 55 gr TTSX and 65 gr Gamekings quite effectively, but mght try the 77 gr TMK this year for gits and shiggles.
Pawn shop saws:
Jonsered 630 Super with 20" bar $140
Stihl 036 Pro with 20" bar $250
The 630 looked a little rough but is a great saw. The 036 was a little pricey at $250 but was like new.
Forget the mask, give your body time to acclimate and take it slow - you're not playing a football game or running a marathon. Also hydrate hydrate hydrate before arriving, Altitude sickness is real and can ruin you and your hunt.
East Main Auto has a used Cayenne S with a for sale sign. I know Randy has seen it and I think that would be a monster hunting rig. Retire the Honda Pilot, cut the fenders, armor coat it, install oversized tires and just rip the FS roads to shreds.
I've killed a lot of pigs, and have seen more dead ones at the hand of others, and I've only seen one 350# free range wild boar hanging on the scale. I've seen a few sows on the hoof that I would suspect being that size, but a boar that size was very unusual and a true monster.
Funny thing...
