    I second this. Montana Winters are what they are, it's not Palm springs. Pick an activity and enjoy it. But spring is what wears real thing real quick. We really don't get a spring. I suggest visiting in April.

    .243 tikka or ruger american would get my vote. Make sure she uses good ear protection at the range, muzzle blast contributes to flinches, too.
