Thanks man. ya the Frank is a brutal place but at the same time its a really cool place. not for the faint of heart. I'll be putting in for mountain goat in there next!
Never in my wildest dreams, did I think I’d be sitting down to write about my second sheep hunt a year after my first sheep hunt! It was May 17th, 2017 when my fiancé and I were sitting on the couch working on wedding plans for our June 28th wedding, when my buddy Carl texted saying that...
awesome video and write up man. I drew a ram tag in Idaho. been thinking that if I tag out i'll burn my 2 points in MT and go after a ewe and try with a bow!
i believe most are killed on private land. other option is use a boat to hunt the river and shoot one on an island or below high water mark. a friend drew a cow tag but they have a private land owner contact is why she applied in that unit. good luck on your hunt man. they kill some good...

I'm good on the light weight gear and altitude. I grew up at 9000. I have several buddies that all day they are coming but I'm also planning on going solo if needed. No stock it will be backpack. Planning on stashing water and some mountain houses when I go scouting to help lighten the load...

Ya I got that from fish and game. It's helpful for sure. I'd really like to talk to guys that have hunted it to know how they hunted sheep in thicker timber. Is it as simple as lots of time behind glass like you would do for mule deer? Looking at google earth and finding trails looks like they...
Well let me start out saying that i'm embarrassed that my first post is one asking for help. I just discovered this forum while looking for info on the sheep tag i just drew! i'm active on MonsterMuleys and Rokslide and wish i had found this one earlier!!
