CO 2nd Season - How was it?
Same here, I was roughly 4 miles from the open road, walked in 3 miles on a closed forest service road that hasn't been open in 10 years and about another mile from that in a clear cut that was logged about 4-5 years ago.- oswald2581

CO 2nd Season - How was it?
I hunted 2nd season and had a pretty good hunt. Saw around 50 Elk, some nice bulls. But like everyone else was saying, it was pretty hot. Ended up getting me a decent bull and was all in all successful hunt!!- oswald2581

My trip..... Meat care.
There is a group that comes out from Wisconsin every year where I go elk hunting. They bring two chest freezers and put them on the front of their ATV trailer. I agree they can be a lot of work depending on the terrain. We have a cabelas dual wheel cart and it works great for deer and antelope. I have seen many people on different social media platforms already attacking guns and 2nd ammement rights. I will be curious to see how these guns were obtained by this guy and what effects it will have on our never ending fight to defend our 2nd ammement rights.- oswald2581

Colorado pref points
It is pretty easy to get points in Colorado. I have not used a single point, up to 12 points and hunted elk every year. I will usually get an Over the Counter Bull tag and leftover B cow tag and can hunt two animals same season or two separate seasons.- oswald2581

Co point creep
It was going to be close for me in Unit 6 with 4 points. Me and another guy in our group had 4 pts and neither drew. There was about a 75% chance to draw and no luck. hopefully 5 will do it next year. Dang Point creep!!- oswald2581
