A stud ram! I appreciate helping link us up Khunter. He got it done before I could be of any help, but great getting a chance to talk to him and share in his excitement.
Posted it in another spot, hadn’t seen this thread.
“Older fella, not the most mobile anymore. Plan was to hunt from the river, but boat situation fell through. That altered plans a bit and after that he said he wasn’t as excited about it as he felt he should be or able to. He thought someone...
That’s awesome! Good for him. If he needs a local area guy with some good glass and a strong back, I’m available! :) May or may not have some ideas since I was supposed to help with the original tag holder.
Older fella, not the most mobile anymore. Plan was to hunt from the river, but boat situation fell through. That altered plans a bit and after that he said he wasn’t as excited about it as he felt he should be or able to. He thought someone else would likely appreciate it more and be able to go...

I don’t think the issue was with the question, but in the manner it was asked. Next time might try “congrats on the bull man, were you able to get all the meat out the next day?” Or something similar to avoid the keyboard jockey bravado.
I don’t think you are referring to me, but just in case, I tanned my full hide and did a euro for the horns. I’m with you I like them best in their entirety!
I’m definitely 💯 in with this idea, just did exactly that with mine last year. Got great money for the hide and it went to a guy that needed to replace his and couldn’t have been happier with my euro. No regrets at all in my decision!
Turns out I know one of the 4 tag holders for S56 desert tag and he’s interested in my free pack mule/glassing services so I get to chase sheep again!!
If anyone draws a S24 sheep tag let me know. Have some good pics of a band of 9 rams that should be around in the fall. 4, 7+ year olds. If it’s of interest.
