Bugle Report
I was hunting squirells with my kids between Laramie and Cheyenne this weekend, and there was at least one pretty vocal bull that provided us some entertainment. Get a cow tag in a unit where drawing an any elk tag is very difficult. You’ll find lots of elk. Once you find elk the first time, it gets easier. -

Longbranch Saloon in Hawk Springs, WY is always our post-pheasant hunt watering hole. The Bear Bottom Grill in Centennial, WY is a family favorite. I'll have to try Firewater in Saratoga this fall when I'm in the area for grouse, elk and deer.- jtm307

Plans with your dog this year
Duskies, sharptails, sage grouse, ducks, and pheasants in WY, possibly a pheasant/hun/sharptail trip to my wife’s uncle’s place in ND. Best Game Meat??
Walleye, bass, bluegill, northern pike and crappie are my favorite game meats, not necessarily in that order. I can't tell the difference among any of them, and they're all delicious. -
