I took this picture on October 9th and shot this buck on the 23rd. Note the body size of this buck. I knew he was good, but he was even nicer when I got my hands on him. Big bodies will fool you sometimes in relation to antler or horn size.
He was narrow...and that means nothing to me. What I...
I've never done this before....shot a mule deer buck on opening day. I've watched him on and off for several months. Also picked up a set of his sheds from two years ago. It's fun to watch these bucks grow up..
This is what they like the best....kinda like their old man....grin! And they know more about it than most people out there doing it ever will. Shane spotted this pair coming in from over a mile away with his binoculars and whispered,"Here they come, dont move".
Bragging much? Sure! Who...

We had a great one today.....everybody was involved. It was perfect!! Her shot was 255 meters with my .260.
Of course the boys are claiming this buck as theirs!!
They are hired for life!.....grin!!
Like the old man used to say when I was young,"Aim at the game". Meaning keep some hair in the scope. Especially when you dont know exactly how far it is. It's happened to all of us and I know it will again!!
