    May 5, 2021 Commissioners Meeting

What a waste of time and money. Every 5 years when they take public comment for the BGSS the most common comments are always wanting limitations of nonresidents.

    WY area 75

Never been on a guided big game hunt before, so don't know if we'll be on the "public with good access". But its free to us so have a feeling it will be fun!

True! And I really don't care what CPW does. Just keep all the crap west of I-25. Of course after the next three years with increased tags and late seasons there wont be any deer remaining west of I-25 so I'm sure they'll go to work on ridding the eastern half of deer.

Population Growth and Hunting in Rocky Mountain States

Ask your California transplants where they were born. 50% of Californians arent from California. Look at the population declines the last 50 years in the major cities of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, etc... Then you’ll see how it all started

Population Growth and Hunting in Rocky Mountain States

OnX, Basemap, etc... has had a huge impact here in Colorado. I've spent so much windshield time and gas money over the years to find hunting spots and now I'm crowded out by the OnX phone scouters. I always ask guys I meet how they found the spots and it never fails with the OnX response. Farms...

Population Growth and Hunting in Rocky Mountain States

Some folks should just be thankful they’re state has only grown by 400,000 (Montana) the last 50 years. California has grown by 20 million during that same period. I’m sure just about everyone who was born and raised in a western state, me included wants it to go back to the way it was 30-40...

    CPW Commission Meeting 1/13/21

Meh, do what they want as long as their BS stays West of I-25. Leave us east side hunters alone. This state is such a joke!

CO: CPW discussion document for R/NR allocations

Ya think? Not maybe, the fee increase should have been tied it to something. But everyone and Organization that testified was begging to be charged more with nothing in return. Didn't even ask for hunting generated dollars to be spent on hunting programs. At least the CPW was honest and said...

    Thoughts on baiting

It’s just another method in my opinion. Is a 60X spotting scope fair chase? Rifles & scopes capable of 1000+ yard shots? Rangefinders to fine tune the shot? everyone has an opinion on what’s fair chase. Here in Colorado people bellyache about the lack of big bucks and I roll my eyes when I...

If you could go back to age 25

Turned 25 in 1996. I was stationed in Germany at Rhine Ordnance Barracks with 1/7 ADA. Not a bad year me thinks from this current perspective, but I probably bitched like crazy that year because of all the days spent in the field preparing for a NATO TACEVAL. Anyone that's been to Baumholder...
