I personally love leaving the skin on. Fat in the skin doesn’t make you have to put any oil in the pan before hand and I like to keep the grease that accumulates in the pan after and use it as I would use bacon grease. Last year I rendered goose fat and man it was amazing to make popcorn in it...
Oh I love talking waterfowl!
1) Use minimal calling to bring birds in. Ok, so this year will be my second full year on the refuge and there's a few diff things I want to try out. First, I'm not the best at calling so I would like to def get better at that, although I noticed last year that more...

So, I contemplated posting this for obvious reasons. One’s preferences in life don’t bother me, as long as they aren’t harmful to others, but seeing there is a run on celebrity politicians...
That’s so similar to my experience. Doc I went to at Stanford was the 49ers team surgeon. When I had Achilles issues from running I skipped the locals and went all the way up to Stanford and had the podiatrist/surgeon for the US Olympic Track & Field team. Always worth driving extra hours for...
I didn’t have a debridement but did have an unsuccessful knee surgery from a local orthopedic who after the fact said I’ll just have to deal with never running again or hiking. We made the drive up to Stanford and the doc instantly knew what was wrong and fixed me up. Idk if you’re in a major...
Minimal points on most species here. Going to sweat my eye balls out in the good ole A zone and try somewhere in the Sierra's for the first time, maybe D8. Going to try bear for the first time too.
Frustrating. These hackers seem to have their system down and as long as FB gets a piece of the action they don't seem to care . Glad the survey was sent out. Curious to see what the consensus will be.
Same as above, about to get rid of mine and remember when it first came out my jr year of HS and needed a college email to have an account. All down hill since.
Def enjoy Big Fin's Instagram page. Too bad FB owns that too 🤦♂️
I’ve been in a similar position as you the last year. My biggest tools to learning from scratch are from hours upon hours of listening and watching as much content I can get my hands on:
Randy and Remi Warren’s Podcasts
Randy and Meateater YouTube pages
Steve Rinella’s latest book on wilderness...
