I went through a slew of powders and wasted a lot of time & $$$. For me Varget and RL-15 became my 'GoTo' powders, from 120's to 150's. In my Ruger 77, I don't fret much over which. If either one is on the shelf I grab it and run, but I sway towards Varget.
I was wondering how soon 'White Rabbit' would hit the scene. Excellent choice.

From my prospective, as a Vet of two wars.....Share them both, their medals are a family heritage collectively and it doesn't matter which one earned it. My Mom was a 4 gold star mother and I can assure you she never thought for one moment about what medals we earned. Just display them...

I've been trying to clear it for 2 days now. Both sinks backed up. So, I clear the left side and scoop most of the water, slam with some Drano crystals and let it sit for an appropriate amount of time.
Next the plunger. Hard down and gush it up. NADA. Repeat.
Now, the Right side drains, not...
Sorry, there is no 'BEST' deer hunting cartridge. The most you can hope for is a general compromise that will work under the general conditions you will be hunting within. So Pick one & then buy another one when that one doesn't fit exactly into every situation. Here's a short list.

My Outback 'Bu has plowed me through too many snow disasters I didn't think I should have made it through, but yet TA DA. No truck I ever owned would have made it.
