What has me concerned is lack of shotgun shells with Dove season approaching. Time to get the old MEC out and do my own. Had to pay out the nose for supplies but my reloads are better than the cheap target loads anyway.
When we last visited, the historian that gave the battle talk loved making correlations between Custer and Crazy Horse. Age, tactics, fame, jealousy from others and many more similarities. It was good stuff.
I'll admit that I have not followed this thread closely but I have one question. If tags for non resident antelope, deer and elk stay stable will there really be a huge drop off in revenue? I can't imagine that cutting tag numbers on the big 5 will have that big of an effect. Am I missing...
Normally you can pick through and whittle it down to 3-4. I think there's 6-7 that have what it takes. Colter and Nate are my picks right now. Clay is too normal and down to earth. I think he'll hit a point and logic will take over. Regardless this is gonna be another good season.
Who is...
There is no question that you need to hunt him. I wouldn't care if he grew forks. I think the camera got a bad pic due to the posture. He's skinny for sure but that will change as the summer wears on. Even animals with no teeth can find something to eat this time of year. Go get him!
I have been looking at getting another pistol caliber carbine for plinking. I currently have a kel tech sub 2000 in 9mm. The whole family loves plinking with it so I was considering another or similar style. I could easily just get another 9mm and save some money on the gun and ammo but was...
I just saw this. Glad it worked out. My oldest lost his first doe and dang near lost his second similar to your story. Good shots but with bullets that were meant for faster velocities don't work well. I sure am happy for the hunter. That kinda stuff can work on a young hunter.
It used to be as much as the rifle, now it's more? Lol
This is gonna make somebody a fine rifle, wish my finances were in a different position right now.
Congratulations, there's all kinds of hunting and fishing gear I've justified for my kids. Even pulled off a lightweight mt rifle because I might have to carry two rifles while hunting with the kids.
All jokes aside, enjoy this time and congratulations!
I'm in too. I sure am sad Randy canned that d-bag fussing about the show a few months ago. It would've been interesting to hear is superior commentary.
Burning shoe leather may be an issue.
I'll just say this. For a disabled hunter, if it's not illegal just go freaking do it. You may encounter someone who would rather you not do it but I'd say when they confront you they will be a little less loud about their complaint. If you are good with...
By the way, I've had several wolfs, an optima and an Acura Mt rifle with the nitride finish. Would recommend the Acura set up to anyone. And whatever you do the nitride is worth every penny.
If you want an education in muzzleloading, Brent D is your guy! Based on your Avatar, I'd say you could bring some interesting perspective to the forum. Welcome
