I'm relatively new to shooting BH209 but have been weighing each of my charges and have found that the volume difference is +/- 10grains when I put them in the plastic BH speed loaders. When I was developing my hunting load I was shooting over a chrono and despite volume differences (weighed...
I had the same issue with one of my Brittanie's. Asked my vet about it and he told me it was a non-issue so long as the dog was UTD on worming, and behavior correction as described above is what he recommended. Nutrition-wise, I also feed the Purina Pro Plan and my dogs mostly leave the steaming...
I can really see the landowner wanting something done as well. He/She has attempted working with G&P the last few years per the second story/link posted, and sounds like it hasn't necessarily helped the crop damage side. What I find discouraging is that the NSF and G&P have tried to get...

Yes, I always measure and make loads with all the same brass, the cleaning and sizing was done in one setting and I guess more than anything I was puzzled as to why it would be so short. I've never had brass shorter than trim specs call for and wasn't sure if it may cause any pressure issues or...

I've had good success using the weatherby 100gr and 120gr. Just didn't like the cost of the factory loads, but for a hunt like that I wouldn't mind paying for their performance.
I know in Western NE they've limited mule deer doe harvest due to increased whitetail populations in traditional mule deer areas. I know this isn't an apples to apples example, but it may also play into it.
Just saw this and passing along. Anyone have more information on it?

Had a little time today to shoot, and I do mean a little. I shot the new gun 5x at 50 yds to start dialing in scope so i can start building a load. It shot really well, had it 3" high at 50yds by the third shot. held pretty good group there. I'll hopefully have more time this coming week to...
