    Ouch. No chance for me on the deer and elk tags I wanted. Even a slimmer chance at my 2nd choices. Could get lucky, but seriously doubt it. NW units sure got slashed. Guessing this fall will be offshore fishing instead of hunting in CO. Got the bad news already on Utah apps.

    You’d have to draw a muzzy tag for mule deer, no OTC. You are too late for the 1st draw. Maybe can get 1 in a less desired unit though in the leftover draw. Licenses are season specific generally. Probably not too many folks will be drawing anything with zero preference points this year...

    NHL playoffs

    Chicago is stacked with draft picks moving forward for a few years. They have 40+ mil in open cap space heading into 2023 too. They will find somebody(s) to play with Bedard Over the next several years. Gonna be slow though and painful for a couple years.

    Maybe so, but that theory has not and is not materializing a tag for me In 61! I can say that my cc will not be charged for a 1st rifle bull tag this year, with relative certainty.

    A real down pillow is my #1 must have accessory for cold weather hunt camp. It makes a huge difference for me when temps get under 20 degrees, and a God send when it’s single digits or -.

    I’ve yet to see a shortage of buzzards, ravens, mountain lions, bobcat, coyotes, golden eagles or black bears. I’m sure none of them ever found a gut pile they did not like. If lead was an issue, you’d think in western states with plenty of deer and elk, all these predator and scavenger...

    You could just get a CO over the counter tag and not worry. There’s some good units that border WY, but no griz. Makes for better sleeping.
