Colorado driver kills 47 antelope
I have no info on this incident, but have witnessed several impacts on I-80 where semi drivers never even hit the brakes as dozens of deer or antelope were mowed over (for lack of a better term)... granted all of these I saw we're in the 80s or 90s. Malicious or no, its a very unfortunate waste. -

My family is also looking to start canning/jarring game meat and would love to hear how the rest of you have been doing it. Best state to start gaining points
I am 20+ years into pp in 6 states and still have to convince myself each year that the odds justify the expense... if I'd saved those costs and that of sheep raffle tickets and I could have been on two AK dall hunts by now. Odds are not great in any states, so find the one that suits your needs...- justdada

Forgotten Calibers
Another lover of the 6mm Remington here... my go to for antelope and it stacks em up! I also carry a 338RCM when elk hunting in the timber. It doesn't kick near as bad as folks think, not much worse than a 308 but man does it have knock down power -

A few years ago I bought one of their packs and it showed up at my door with a cracked fiberglass frame... i called, they sent a replacement, and many pack outs later it is still going strong. I had reason to be dubious but the pack has proven itself at this point.- justdada

Help with a float trip.
It depends on time and resources, but ive been on lots of water and it's tough to beat a float down the noatak in Alaska... pleanty of good fishing and the last truly remote stretch left- justdada

Whats your 2019 plans
My 2019 starts with the most important hunt of all, as my daughter has her first ever hunting license, which is for AZ javelina. After that I'm focusing on learning how to catch walleye, and in the fall, 1st season bull in CO, 3rd season buck in CO...hoping to figure out a NM LO antelope doe tag...- justdada
