@npaden correct me if I'm wrong, it is my understanding you can max out both the 401k and SEP as long as you don't have ownership in the company that you get the W2 from. 69k for each in 2024.

I did regular for my two boys with 6 points each and special for me with 4 points. Didn't put in as a group. With them both in college next Fall, 3 elk tags in Wyoming might be a little much.
I have several pairs of Yukon Charlie's from when my boys were in the boy scouts. Still use and loan them out to this day and they are pretty affordable.
