Hi, absolutely. Congrats on the tag which season are you hunting. Apologies for not responding sooner but it is a good unit with some nice bulls. It is not an easy hunt but there are elk there and some big bulls. I could send u some spots I found elk in to check out if you qould like.- Jimru

Thanks again you are so right and we did have a blast. The look on my 2 soon to be 3 year old sons face when he saw the bulls rack wjen we got home was priceless. I think elk hunting got us now lol. -

I agree and Good luck im sitting on max points here in PA also. Sunday they draw the keca governors tag too but thats equivalent to hitting the powerball jackpot. Good luck!!!! Hope u draw!!!! -
Eastern Draw Hunts
Extremely tough to draw but Pennsylvania's elk draw happens on saturday 8/15. They only draw 36 bull tags and around 140 cow tags but somebody gotta win. Then on sunday they draw 1 governors tag which u can still buy chances for.- Jimru

Ok thanks i got ya.....I will have a side by side to use for the hunt. I have 325wsm and a 300win mag and i am comfortable taking shots out to 500 yards with either of those. I do not mind walking and i will walk as far as i have too to find elk. -
