Put on 3.2 miles today and only turned up a smallish shed from last year and this dead buck.
I had to have walked right past this shed a few days ago. Not sure how I missed it.
As far as the dead deer it is pretty fresh. Probably only been here a few days. I think it was hit by a car. I hunt in...
I have found 6 sheds and a dead head on the property I hunt here in Oklahoma. Have found two matched sets.
One set was practically touching. The other set was about 150 yards apart.
I've been out 3 times and have logged approximately 15 miles. Onx pic was Saturdays hunt.
I got a new pup in January of 2022. I posted a few pics of his training progress over in the Hunting with Hounds section. Wasn't sure whether to post this in the Hounds section or Feathers section. I spent a lot of time dog training over the summer preparing for the upcoming duck season. It...
TSS is legit. I believe it's approximately 54% more dense than lead. Seems like I read that a #9 tss is equivalent to a #5 lead in regards to density. Which allows you to load way more numbers in a wad without compromising energy. I have been hand loading tss for the last couple years for turkey...
I have permission from a neighbor to hunt his wheat field. The geese hit the field pretty much every morning to eat the wheat. About 80 big Canada's and a single Snow with them. The field is mostly flat with no cover.
Can I get by with using a A-Frame? The blind is brushed with dead brown...
This really is the correct starting point. Before all of the hypotheticals get fussed over, found out the facts such as does the shop have insurance and go from there. Then again if shop is not answering phone calls it might be tough.
It stinks that oftentimes the person who truly is at fault...
How can you make some right if you did nothing wrong? Sounds like the theft was beyond the shop owners control.
My post are just my opinions. I definitely see both sides of the situation and feel for both parties involved. The thief is the perpetrator and all others are victims. I have been a...
Shop owner no longer had "control" of the situation or the ATV when he was violated by theft.
Shop owner was violated just as much if not more than the ATV owner.
This would be less of an issue if ATV owner would have not neglected to have insurance.
It's a bad deal for everyone involved. Bad for you because obviously your ATV was stolen. Also bad for the shop owner. In order to make something right, first shop owner had to have done something wrong. What did shop owner do wrong? I'm sure this was not his desired outcome. Imo shop owner...
Just my humble opinion but if you did not have insurance on the ATV I do t know how you feel justified going after the shop owner if he didn't have insurance either.
I don't know, seems like a raw deal for the shop owner to have to pay out of pocket to every victim for something that was no...
Over the summer I posted some about my pups training progress. Was trying to have him ready to hunt by this fall. I also wanted pups first hunting retrieve to be my 10 year old son Drake's first duck. All though Drake has shot the .410 a lot he recently has started shooting the 20 guage. With...
S. Dakota buck I killed 2 days ago. It was COLD. Weather I saw said wind chill factor was -19°. I deboned all the meat on site. Was able to get the meat, cape, and skull in frame pack and made the pack out in one trip. Onx tracker said 1.37 miles. I drug the frame pack the first 700 or so yards...
