@Ben Lamb I'd like to buy you a beer next week when I'm in Helena.....oh wait you won't be there during transmittal....I guess I'll buy you a beer and then drink your beer on your behalf.
If you'd like to listen to yesterday's Judiciary Committee hearing on SB497. Here it is. Picks up at 8:17 on the recording. UPOM, TU, MWF, were there, but no one else.

Here's an interesting article that appeared in the Flathead Beacon. It shows how the MTGOP is ostracizing former and current Republican lawmakers with a focus on Mark Racicot's experience.

HT can be the place to find this information, but the beauty of social media is that we can make it go viral, fast. Have a little COVID brain going on at the moment, but I should have done this yesterday..
Here's the link the Senate floor session tomorrow...

I don't see SB497 on there. It's ready for a second reading so its plausible that it happens tomorrow.
Sent emails to every senator in the Flathead. I would urge everyone to hit more than just your senator. Hit neighboring districts as well. Unfortunately for me, Keith Reiger voted on this today in the Judiciary Committee so I couldn't exactly ask him to flip his vote.
Geesh, I just read SB497. While it doesn't give the landowner the right to restrict prescriptive easements (surface water access), it does give the right to any government agency to post such sign and then wait 5 years for it to take effect. IMHO, this would have been the bill to attack by all...
Gave my step daughter the greenlight to drop this whitetail doe this fall so I sort feel like I added to the decline. She put a smooth shot on it and was super happy that the deer went down with just two steps.
