I grew up in rural Indiana with friends that raised beef cattle, Bos Taurus, hogs, and we even got locally grown popcorn. Kinda miss it. Although none of those families are still producing.
Take it how you want brother. No virtue signaling from me. I could give a chit what people do. More just curious from a hunting forum standpoint if people are fully holding out on animals or just mule deer.
I appreciate the feedback. I grew up eating whitetail, cottontail, some occasional birds, and 1/2 a cow a year from a friend. Still try and do the same for my family.
Bomb packs were the preferred packs for folks working trail crew. The beaver tail is indispensable for carrying chainsaw gas, oil, or anything heavy and oddly shaped. Still have a 25+ year old one that I still use.
