10+ Years of Use, What Worked
25 years out of my Cabela's -20 goose down sleeping bag. Zipper ripped out this fall on my elk hunt. Did you shoot your first deer with open sights?
First deer was a little 5pt, shot him with a Remington 7600 .243 at 10 yards. Had a cheap tasco 3x9 scope on it. Have killed several with open sighted 30.30 and muzzleloader and countless rabbits and squirrels with open sighted 22.- Chad Gus

I had the tag two years ago, went over Thanksgiving. It was one month post treestand accident where i broke a couple disc's in my lower back. WI end tomorrow, not a Togie hunt.(public)
Haven't been out much since opening weekend. I did get out this morning and zipped a coyote behind the house, then this afternoon i let another small buck go. One of my cousins got a little trigger happy and shot this young 10pt yesterday morning. -

Do you get tired?
This year after getting back from my archery elk hunt, i had no desire to bowhunt deer, around home. Didn't even buy a tag, lots of deer around, plenty of nice/ big bucks in the area.
