All things said... Are you anticipating the shot and report? Try shooting muffs.
My Grandaughter( she is 14 and has been shooting since she was 6) is not recoil shy but the report makes her jump. We are working on a new rifle for her. when she uses foam earplugs and shooting muffs she shoots...
OK, we are still waiting on the draw for Antelope.
But the swan and crane draw was held and posted.
We all got a swan tag and the D-I-L got a crane tag. I prefer the crane but a swan tag is just as hard to draw, and fun too.
I hope I'm not making a fooPa here in someone else's backyard, but.
I was watching his videos on Youtube for some time and he seems to be putting up new ones weekly sometimes daily.
And now poof all gone and you can't even search his name. I know he was on for a long time on the truth about...
OK, guys, this is the skinny. I just got the word from Helena, State Wildlife, and Parks.
I specifically asked about Recreational, Target shooting, which includes non-game animals, AKA gophers ext.
This is their response copied off my email.
"Good morning,
The conservation that is now needed...
I just ran some 200 sledge hammers out of my 8mmRM over my Magnetospeed to order some "Caps" from Leopold.
Ran 5 averaged 3260 and with the Bayonet on the barrel, I got well under an inch at 100. (y) (y)
The only reason I brought it up was the fact they did not specifically state shooting, only.
Most people thought the state permit that was on your license in the past did NOT let you target shoot, or hunt gophers P dogs, or coyotes. "hunting" on state lands was only for and during a season and...
Still does not say recreational shooting or non-game shooting.
That reads the same as it did before, you needed the recreational state permit, the one on your conservation did not cover that. I'm guessing you never shot targets on State or Gophers without the "other one". I have an email into...
I don't see where that is addressed.
To target shoot, and shoot NON-game animals require the rec tag now Or did depending on how it reads, as well as the state lands with your license, as well as just hiking or camping.
OK if I'm reading this correctly We still have to buy a state lands recreation permit to target shoot, gopher hunt, and predator hunt, right?
Same as now, just more money?
