Tire chains
Cam-locks are a plus for taking extra slack up. Even with heavy chains you will still get broken cross links and the cross link hooks will still get spread and that's where the chain pliers help with chain maintenance.- RobertR

Zeroing
I will stick with the 27 or 100 yard zero because in close quarters in the timber 30 yards or less it only takes one branch to make you miss or wound an animal. I can still bracket an animal with the duplex for longer shots.- RobertR

Where for Whitetail?
Mule deer my second choice! Access is key no matter where ever you decide to hunt whitetail. If I had to choose Alberta would be number one right behind Kansas. We have good whitetails it's just a matter of timing and patients. -

Bambistew, first off you are blessed to live where the Giants roam. Not sure what your plans are for your moose sheds but there worth a lot of money as antler art. Not your run of the mill around $15 a pound, there worth big dollars. I would say for any matching sets they could go for 6 grand...- RobertR
