I believe those are the only two women specific models. My wife has a couple Camillas and a Remington model 7 and a few ARs that she shoots well. My oldest daughter has a Lady Hunter and my middle daughter has a Savage 110 that I put in an Boyds AT-1 stock. My youngest daughter will most...
The only rifle I have in that range that I would recommend is my Weatherby Vanguard badlands. Sub $750, super smooth action, sub MOA all day, lightish weight, weatherproof and has a really good 2 stage trigger. The cerakote is excellent on it and it has the best synthetic stock I have ever...
I would pick a suppressor ready 300WM. Mostly because I already have a good suppressor host in 308 and don't really have anything larger. I wouldn't say I need anything larger in Upstate SC, but the "want" is there
Last year I bought through silencer shop in Jan and picked it up in Nov, 11ish months. This year I did the E-file through silencer shop in March, about 53 days so far.
All of the back and forth trying to decide to mod or sell it has given me the build bug. Rather than hack away at a truly nice rifle, I finally decided to let that one go. Think I'll try my hands at putting one together with a custom action soon. Either way I hope to send some rounds down...
I understand the concept, that's why I ordered something else. I just can't decide if I should start hacking away at it to make it something I would like better or pass it on to someone who will appreciate it's attributes more
I have finally ordered another 308 to replace my Remington 700 Mountain that I am not in love with anymore. The question is when you have a rifle that doesn't do it for you anymore, do you tinker with it or send it down the road? The rifle is light and shoots great on a cold bore but heats up...
Gearing up for this season.. What do you think about this 30yd pattern? Beretta A400 12ga, Carlson's Long Beard XR .660 choke, Winchester Long Beard XR 3" 1-3/4oz 5-shot
I picked up one in 9mm for my wife. During the first 200 rounds it wouldn't make a full mag without failing to go into full battery with stock mags and some WC mags. The stock slide spring seemed pretty weak and the whole pistol shot sluggish. I got a WC flat wire 9mm spring and short guide...
I have one acoustic. When I need an acoustic it's the one that goes, lol. It sounds really good, much better than any backpacker I have played. I have allot of guitars, but not what I would call a collection. I'm in Afghanistan right now with a Gibson Les Paul that I checked all the way here...
I usually take my Gibson acoustic with me when I go camping. Not really a "hunt camp" but more like a yearly fishing trip. I usually play it by the fire while I smoke a cigar. It's pretty relaxing and fun to jam to some tunes by the fire.
That isn't a standard thread pitch for a 30 cal. If your barrel is cut that small you might not want to use a suppressor on it. There's not allot of meat on the barrel to support a can. Did you have the barrel threaded or did it come from the factory?
I've been picking up pieces for a 300BO. The hunt for parts has been interesting and mostly fun, lol. I believe I only have one more piece to decide on then I'll start building soon. Hopefully you'll get some ammo soon, the Grendel is a great little cartridge.
I put a magazine conversion on my Remmy 700 308 once. Used it for a season and went back to the floor plate. I was always worried about forgetting the mag or having something weird happen to it not to mention the fact that I wouldn't ever need a mag change while hunting. The floorplate was...
