[Wyoming] Legislator Proposes All-You-Can-Kill Elk Permits For Ranchers
Much of the national forest, probably most, is vacant of elk during the winter months. Of course they’re down lower on private land. That’s a classic example of typical wy game and fish response. Moronic, and know it all’s. -
Another meat safety question. Elk not recovered for 24 hours.
Loins are probably bad. The rest should be good as long as it doesnt smell. The stink may just be from the bloating/gas which starts almost immediately after dying. I usually notice bloating while we are still taking pics.- wyoboypt

Sleeping out under the stars…
The mountains of Wyoming are a great place to sleep out under the stars. It’s not a big deal. Tents are nice for mosquitos. But if I lived down south you wouldn’t catch me sleeping on the ground. No thanks on the spiders and scorpions down there.- wyoboypt

Both. I feel like my gps is more reliable and accurate although idk if thats true or not. Definitely more durable. -

Weatherby issues
I have a first gen weatherby backcountry in 6.5 rpm. It is accurate. I smoked a coyote at 600 yards with factory 140 g hornady interlocks. I do have 1 gripe, that it doesn’t chamber the rounds smoothly. For 2k i was thinking it would roll through them as nice and smooth as my old Winchester. But...
