    If your dog doesn't know that you want it to start tracking or following it's nose then you need to be clear/ build in a command for it. This can be just going to a hotspot for the scent and tapping on the spot while giving a verbal- ie go find it Vienna weenies are great for early training...

    Not necessarily an ecd but for my next fixed blade for the field I have been eyeing the victorinox venture. I use Victorinox for my at home butchering knives and really like them. For the price of the venture it seems like it'd be worth checking out

    Recently picked up a Tops Scandi mini. Really like this knife feels less bulky in my pocket than most folders. I'm a big fan of scandi grind although I guess this is modified scandi. Nice blade profile too.

    There's more support forces that there are combat forces. The military needs everything. The point of the larger organizations is to support the combat soldier. Many many things need to happen in order for troops to be able to fight.

    There's no average anyone that joins the military. It is the biggest mix of people from all over this country joining for all different reasons.
