    The problem with fish records is catch and release. I’m all for catch and release, but verification is impossible.

    You should look at the CO catch and release records of which 3 records are held by one couple from a private pond. Two of those are longer that world records.

    Not sure about FWP, but Colorado has a MA program. I agree that consistently catching big fish takes skill, but when the prize is literally a piece of paper and your name on a list, who cares. It’s not as exclusive as it sounds. Imagine if the BC minimum for mule deer was 150.

    I’m in complete agreement as far as adults are concerned. It seems like it’s a good program for kids, but why any adult would care about getting a worthless piece of paper is beyond me.

    Oops. I just assumed you were talking rifle. You should be able to draw one of the SW units second choice without any issue based on this years draw stats.

    Yes, you can apply as a group and either all draw or nobody draws. Tags that can be drawn 100% as second choice (either 1st or 4th rifle) is going to be in a unit that is OTC for 2nd and 3rd seasons.
